It's named after the address of Hermès's flagship store and is one of a handful of perfumes named after fashion-centric addresses, including Balenciaga Le Dix and Chanel 31 Rue Cambon. Maurice Roucel created 24, Faubourg. I would have named it “24 Faubourg: Solaire Oriental — Eau de Parfum Légère” — and then I would have bought another bottle of the original 1990s formula. Composed in 1996 by perfumer Maurice Roucel, 24 Faubourg eau de parfum creates a fragrance cloud suffused with its sunny sources of inspiration: the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean. With floral and amber notes, 24 Faubourg eau de parfum is bursting with the scent of white flowers, from radiant orange blossom .perfume. This is PERFUME, of the most opulent kind (and yes, I have the original from Maurice Roucel). I daringly lavish myself in this sensuous honeyed orange blossom and gardenia, highlighted with green zest and pith, heaving with a luscious and perspiring bouquet.
